Sound Wisdom's SG-1 uses two 6-volt 230 AmpHour Lead-Acid Technology batteries. Lead Acid batteries
store the most electricity for the money, and can be rebuilt.
Sound Wisdom's batteries come with terminals and cables for inclusion in our systems.
Our batteries are each 7.5"x11"x10". Weight 77 pounds. Power Packs use the same batteries.
When you order batteries from us, or when you order a system which uses batteries, we have those batteries
delivered to a Batteries Plus or Interstate Battery dealer in your area. It is then your responsibility to go pick
them up; they'll be waiting with your name on them. You do not have to pay for those batteries when you
arrive to pick them up; you paid for them as part of your order.
This ensures that your name is on the warranty, so you can claim warranty service at any of hundreds of
nationwide locations, should the need arise. It also spares you the expense of shipping batteries, which incur
Hazardous Material packing and shipping charges. Trust us; you don't want to pay someone to ship a battery
to you. You want to go to a store and pick it up.
